"Seeds of Change" -- combining sustainability strategies

Openworld is now assembling "Seeds of Change" catalysts such as microscholarships and other digital resources to directly assist entrepreneurial schools in exploring ways to increase their freedom and awaken new assets for sustainability.

The following diagram describes how Seeds of Change challenge offers can lead to a self-sustaining system to fund education:

As noted in this diagram, additional resources can be provided to communities in cases where neighborhood organizations assist entrepreneurial schools, and where public authorities agree to provide a "land grant" endowment for the school and/or community microscholarships.

The authorities also can increase the value of such land grant endowments by creating attractive environments for investors, firms, and social ventures to establish operations at the land grant site.
